Over the last few months, COOL has continued to broaden its educational
offerings and now has five fee-based courses available:
A More Perfect Union
(AMPU), is a half day introductory course that chronicles the Founder's
struggle to draft a constitution that would firmly unite thirteen disparate
states into one republic, and captures the debates, emotions and issues
that confronted those men who gathered in Philadelphia to hammer out a
new framework of government in 1787.
Know Your Rights: The Constitution Of
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will review our rights as
outlined in the state constitution and provide and overview of it's history,
with an emphasis on the importance of the rule of law. This course
will feature a variety of speakers, including Pennsylvania State Senator
Mike Folmer. Next Class: May 2, 2009; 9:00 AM - Noon; Open Door

Institute On The Constitution 1:
Foundations For Liberty is the first part of our intermediate
course Institute On The Constitution
(IOTC). Developed by a constitutional attorney and featuring constitutional
expert John Eidsmoe, the Foundations For Liberty reintroduces
attendees to the religious, philosophical and legal concepts that directly
influenced the creation of the United States Constitution. Next
Class: May 9, 16, 23, 30; Time and Location to be determined.
Institute On The Constitution 2:
Framework Of Government is the second part of our intermediate
course Institute On The Constitution
(IOTC). This course is a concentrated study in the United States
Constitution itself, going through each Article and Amendment, and concludes
with strategies that can be promote greater understanding of our nation's
Supreme Law of the land.
The Birth Of Freedom outlines
the unique principle of individual freedom, it's roots and how it has become
a pillar of our United States of America. Next Class: April 24,
2009; 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM - Lebanon Evangelical Free Church.
